Pour it

Choose a heat-resistant jar or bowl. Pour in the candle sand & gently level, leaving ~1 cm from the rim.

Wick it

Insert a wick in the centre and press to anchor. Trim to ~5 mm. Light & enjoy

Refresh

Once fully cool, lift out the used wick. Top up the sand if needed and insert a new wick. It looks brand new again!

What makes White Cove different?
Flexibility and simplicity. Use the jars you already love, change the look in seconds, and refill without fuss. Our blend is vegetable-oil based and contains no paraffin, so you can expect a clean, calm burn and a minimal, coastal aesthetic.
Can I use any jar?
Use sturdy, heat-resistant containers: thick glass tumblers, ceramics, stoneware or metal. Avoid thin, cracked or delicate glass and anything plastic. Always burn on a heat-proof coaster. We always recommend Whitecove Heat-Guard coasters to ensure your surface is protected
Do I need one wick or two?
Most standard jars work with one wick. Wide bowls may prefer two, spaced evenly. Start with one; if the flame seems small for the surface area, add a second wick on your next burn.
How long will a Starter Pack last?
It depends on your vessel size and wick count. A 400g pack typically covers many smaller jars or a couple medium bowl. Because you can top up as you go, there’s less waste and you only use what you need.
Is it scented?
We chose to keep Candle Sand unscented so you can make it your own. If you’d like fragrance, add a few drops of essential oil near the wick and let it absorb before lighting. Start small, test, and avoid over-adding—too much oil can affect the flame. (Never add flammable liquids.)
Is Candle Sand eco-friendly?
We avoid paraffin and design for reuse—your jars live on, again and again. We’re careful with claims and focus on practical impact: refill, not replace, with a vegetable-oil-based blend.
When will I get my order?
We carefully pack and dispatch within 2 working days. UK Standard Delivery typically arrives 2–3 working days after dispatch. You’ll get a dispatch email as soon as your order is on the way. (During peak periods/bank holidays, carriers may take a little longer.)
